The mantle clocks are all hand-built by slab construction with low-fired white clay. They are fired, glazed and fired again. The numbers/symbols indicating the hour are stickers (so they could be removed or changed)

$225 clocks — have atomic mechanisms (they receive a radio frequency signal from the atomic clock in Boulder, CO - so they are always accurate)

$185 clocks — are not atomic, but still keep good time.

Both run on one AA battery (not included)
